1941年12月7日，日本偷袭珍珠港，将美国卷入第二次世界大战；八十多年后，我却在同一座港口，采访日本海上自卫队少将谈论美日同盟。短短几天内，我在环太平洋军演见证美日官兵并肩演训；又走进珍珠港纪念园区，回望两国曾经兵戎相见的历史。更意想不到的是，这段旅程让我重新理解自己的家族故事--我的爷爷曾在二战期间两度与死神擦肩而过，而他的经历，最终与我站在珍珠港的这一刻，产生了跨越八十年的连结。
